CELEBRATING 20 YEARS AS ORANGE COUNTY’S PREMIER NEWCOMER WELCOME SERVICE
Founded in 1986. In concept, it was similar to the American Frontier days of the Conestoga wagon trains: It was customary for local folks to greet frontier travelers with baskets of food as they rolled West. This gesture is the basis of what constitutes a present-day welcoming service. Today, new residents in flourishing urban areas are the "pioneers" while local merchants offer their "welcome gifts" through this modern day greeting.
Accelerating the link between new residents, local businesses, city resources and city leadership helps foster that all important “sense of community” we all strive for.
